A figure of speech in which an expression is used to refer to something that it does not literally denote in order to suggest a similarity. Due to the fact that folks are reading my blog a little too literally it would be awesome if everyone chilled out for a while and stopped reading it too hard. Chill. Out. Thanks. It continues. I find myself in NYC at the moment. This weekend I participated in Sex Work Awareness’s Speak Up Media Training with Audacia Ray which was awesome and I’m really thankful to have been apart of it. I lost it somewhere between West [...] is what I got from wrecking my bike on Friday morning. the only upside was a special boy picking me up from the hospital and a nice afternoon with said boy. other than that this shit sucks, being immobilized is not only totally frustrating but has made me realize how much I hate being stuck [...] blah, I fixed it! sorry for the downtime. if anyone noticed something was up and still sees an issue, please let me know, other than that I think I fixed it! yay! Lots of crazy celestial events occurring today. Tonight at 1:30 am – 3:30 (EST) there will be a full lunar eclipse in the sky, tomorrow is a full moon in Cancer and the Winter Solstice. The last time there was a lunar eclipse was during February 2008. The moon is supposed to turn an orange [...] This blog has been my scratch pad for a while. Living without community in real life makes it tough when you want to express yourself and vent and get feedback for that. Without this blog I wouldn’t have met all of the amazing people that don’t live near me that share similar beliefs.
